  • Thank you for choosing to work together!

I’m Crispin Spaeth, owner of Spaeth Projects LLC dba Crispin Spaeth Coaching.

I offer Group Classes, Workshops, Private Coaching, Private Lessons, Programs, and Custom Packages (“Coaching”) that combine my knowledge of the performing arts, event production, and business with Integrative Alexander Technique.

This is designed to set some ground rules for how we will work together. Please read it and if there is anything in it you cannot accept, let me know before we work together.  If you are comfortable working with me under these terms please acknowledge your acceptance before our first meeting.

This and any agreement between us will follow the laws of Washington State.

  • You can choose to move.

You have the option to include movement and physical activity in our learning sessions.  This is always your choice and will be in your control.  I encourage you to be gentle, but any physical activity includes some risk.

You accept sole responsibility for any injuries.

By choosing physical participation in Coaching in person, in any location, or via Zoom or any other online platform, you are releasing Crispin Spaeth and Spaeth Projects LLC from any form of liability for any injuries you may receive.

    I use my hands.

For in-person lessons, I use my hands in the course of teaching, though I don’t have to. The use of my hands is meant to help you stay with a new idea just a little longer.  I will ask your permission during our early lessons, and you may ask me not to use my hands at any time. On any day, you have the right to say “no hands” and that is absolutely ok.

    I am not a doctor.

My commitment to you is educational. While my Coaching may produce effects that are beneficial or therapeutic, nothing I do is to be considered medical treatment or psychological counseling.

  • I like our privacy.

I won’t talk about you in any detail outside of Coaching. If you are in a group class, let’s keep what happens in the group.

    Recording and Use of Images

Unless stated in a class description, I do not generally record group classes. (Again, I like our privacy.)

On the rare occasion that I do take screenshots, photos or video, it would be with your explicit consent, either verbal or written. If I want to use images for promotional or educational purposes, I will confirm consent in writing.

If you request to record a private lesson for your own educational purposes, please keep it private. No sharing or publishing without written permission, please. If you are excited to share what I do, I offer custom group workshops and would be happy to talk with you about that option.

That said, I do like to brag

If you say something particularly awesome, or have something to celebrate, I might ask if I can quote you for teaching or publicity purposes. You can say no or request anonymity.

  • Payment

Payment is required prior to any Coaching, unless you request arrangements to pay in person. Prices are as advertised when you register for a class or lesson or purchase a package on my website, or when I send you an invoice for a coaching contract or custom workshop.

Planning to get reimbursed? Invoices and statements are available on request.

    Cancellation and Refunds

Things happen! Please let me know as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.

For Private Lessons and Coaching, 24 hours notice of cancellation is requested.

Refunds or credits back to packages for cancellation within 36 hours prior to an appointment is not guaranteed.

Missed appointments with no notice will be charged full-price.

For Group Classes, 48 hours notice of cancellation is requested. There are no refunds once a class or series has started. Makeup classes are not guaranteed.

For Custom and Workplace trainings and workshops, cancellation and refund policies will be spelled out in our agreement and may include compensation for workshop prep, space rental, and travel expenses.

    Sliding Scale

I am committed to making this work financially accessible, and I offer sliding-scale for group classes whenever possible, and Private Coaching on request. Please do not hesitate to ask! Contact me here.
