Circle Up! is monthly, one-hour, virtual group meeting for women and gender expansive business owners. You’ll learn performance-based tools and techniques that help you improve your presentation and conversation skills so you can build confidence, find your people, make more money, and change the world.

There’s no perfect elevator pitch. It’s an ongoing evolution. This is a chance to practice context-specific versions of your business language in a supportive community that wants you to succeed.

How did it start?

Launched in 2020, Circle Up! is an established format for woman to speak, be heard, and get feedback in a safe, productive space.

Sessions are facilitated by Crispin Spaeth who brings:

  • 30+ years of rehearsal, performance, and event production skills to support you in your speaking

  • 30+ years of study and teaching of Integrative Alexander Technique, which is used by actors in training schools all over the world

  • Feedback methods from her creative background to help you develop new ideas

  • A kind and supportive approach to building businesses

  • A lifelong commitment to women’s empowerment

What to expect

Each meeting starts with a brief training on topics such as:

  • Focusing at a busy networking event

  • Sitting vs. Standing: How this affects your speaking voice

  • Create a rehearsal plan to gain skill and confidence

  • How your nervous system contributes to Zoom weirdness and what to do about it

Then we take turns practicing whatever is most helpful to you, such as:

  • Your elevator pitch

  • Answering the question “What do you do?” at a party

  • A tricky moment in your sales process

  • Any other business idea you need to say out loud and receive gentle, content-agnostic feedback

You’ll be shown tools needed to stand up for your brilliant business ideas and have time to practice them with the group.
